| RAYMOND MAY'S CAR B.24.GA. 28.7.37. (1) Drill additional oil holes in the crankshaft pins and journals and charge the customer for an R.20 inspection i.e. £13.10.0. We do not think the bearings need changing yet, judging by the car's performance. (2) Examine rear main bearing for slack, and take up if necessary. Charge to customer. (3) Examine No.5 inlet tappet adjusting screw and make good. Charge to customer. Let Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} have defective screw. (4) Examine front stub axles for play. Any work necessary to be charged to the customer. (5) Fit a larger driving mirror, if available. Charge to customer. (6) If we can get them ready in time, we will supply two new front drums, which are interchangeable, with the present ones. In this case, we will change the rear foot brake countershaft levers to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}303. Charge to Company. --------- | ||
