X1729a To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Cadillac Test. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}11/E18.12.34 Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}E. I attach copy of memo. sent to Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} to-day. I feel that you or Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} and possibly some one like Grylls ought to go over before this Cadillac test comes to an end and do a few hundred miles on it. I am not in any way depreciating GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}, but in view of 'SpectreCodename for Phantom III', I feel that some of our chief people ought to take the opportunity of making themselves au fait with the Cadillac, which appears to be very good for steering, suspension, road holding etc. Please let me know what you propose to arrange.
