XU707 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}4/KT. May 26th 1933. Messrs Park Ward & Co. Ltd., 473 High Road, Willesden, London. N.W.10. Dear Sirs, Further to our letter of the 25th inst. in which we asked if you would be good enough to send your men to Derby on Monday next to mount the open Bentley 'B' body, we find now that this job is extremely urgent, and if possible the car should be finished off on the Thursday, June 1st. In order to do this it would appear necessary for you to arrange for your men to be here earlier than the usual 11 o'clock train, and also to arrange the job into a day and night shift. We shall be greatly obliged to you if you could arrange for something to be done on these lines. We presume that your men will bring with them the wings and running boards for this car which we understand are with you. In addition we have not yet received from you the front cushion belonging to the black saloon Bentley 'B' body, and the carpet for the blue drop head coupe Bentley 'B'. These were sent to you last Friday for alterations which your Mr. Dixon arranged to have done. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
