S/W Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}...from C. 361 C5/C25.6.37 Re 3.BU.10...Capt. J.M.Cobbold. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/R24.6.37 ------ I note what you say regarding this car and that the fitting of the new type clutch will not help the synchromesh. As a matter of fact the car was sent to N. on Wednesday and Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} says that Capt.Cobbold's complaint is justifiable, and he found about 10 additional items to those complained of. Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} informs me on the telephone that he should have no difficulty in effecting quite a lot of improvement, and it happens that he has a 'Long' type clutch left out of those you sent him recently do I have told him to fit this. Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} is working with a view to having the car ready by Monday night. C. | ||
