W/S. C. from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 361 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/R.24.6.37. 3.BU.10 - Capt. J.M. Cobbold. C5/C23.6.37. We will be very glad to do what we can to satisfy this choleric customer. If you will get Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} to let us know when the car is going to be at Cricklewood, we will try and get somebody down to obtain a figure of merit for the gearbox synchromesh. Unfortunately, the new clutch does nothing to improve the ease of gear-changing. We might, however, with your agreement, fit some experimental parts to deal with this particular case, if the customer is worth it. I am afraid we shall not have a supply of the new clutches for at least a fortnight, we have already send those available to Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} Therefore, it is really no good Mr. Cobbold sending his car in until both jobs can be dealt with at once. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
