PAXON CUSHIONS.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/WJ14-3-30.

We have at last obtained delivery of the sample Paxon cushion from the manufacturers.

As received the cushion consists of a wooden frame supporting an air bag and the whole is covered with cloth.

We know to obtain the best results it is desirable to have a layer of horse-hair, wool, down, etc., between the air bag and the passenger, so we have sent the cushion to Barkers for them to add such a layer.

When this has been done Barkers will send the cushion direct to you.

In due course we shall be glad to know what you think of the cushion and how you think it compares with a cushion of normal construction.

Please do not criticise its appearance too much. We know it is not too good to look upon but we have got it for nothing and so cannot be too critical of its looks.

Moreover, we understand that for the purpose for which you are going to use it, appearance is not of supreme importance.
