HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} } FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} C to SC WOR{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} SECRET. ORIGINAL R2/M10.7.29. X3805. X7770. re. SS.{S. Smith} AND BENTLEY. HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} says the Bentley had many faults, (and we do not wish one purchased.) Amongst other faults the radiator jellied and the steering was defective. If we could swallow this we could use thicker rubber engine mounting and prevent the engine roughness from reaching the frame. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
