Large Bore Bentley.

Referring to the specification Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}34/KW. 3.9.35, which we handed to you, having considered this we think that we can now give you a final specification for B-18 as it will have to go to France if it is to be ready in 10 days' time.

Crankcase.
Stiffened type with spread stud centres, 20/25 dynamo speed, geared starter motor, Hall's metal bearings with white metal clearances.

Crankshaft, Spring Drive & Timing Gears.
Standard.

Connecting Rods.
EB.2374. EB.2220/2, with connecting rods bolts in S/ZNCR, to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2104 - Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smth.1/KW. 4.9.35.

Pistons.
Aerolite with strengthened gudgeon pin bosses.

Carburetters.
Large carburetters to be handed to you by CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}, to be fitted with a flange to take the air intake silencer Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2105 and suitable controls.
Air intake Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2105 required.
The induction pipe will be the same as fitted to Hall's car, a spare of which can be obtained from CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}

Cylinders.
Head, Ex.18392.
Exhaust Valves - 3 stellited silichrome, and 3 stellited KE-965.
Block to Ex.18393.

Oil Pump.
Ex.11936/41. Straight tooth large pump.
