| -11- We have never previously seen a frame so lacking in front cross members. The appearance of the radiator is obtained entirely by a shell carrying the radiator shutters, the matrix being mounted vertically behind it. The front wings have extensions pressed integrally completely shroud the frame top and channel both on the inside and outside. The hydraulic dampers are mounted on the frame in front of the front axle, presumably to prevent them interfering with the steering lock. The catches holding the windscreen down are neat and worthy of attention. THE CORD. - AUBURN. From appearances, this is being developed by the Chrysler engineers. They have the same dropped frame, but have a cross member close to the front dumb irons. This cross member is dropped to enable the apron to be kept as low as possible. The operation of the bonnet shutters is MERCEDES BENZ. exceedingly neat. Have adopted the Maybach gearbox complete. UP SWEPT | ||
