Dear Sirs,

RE FUSE HOLDERS.

After carefully examining and trying in position the modified fuse holder which you propose in place of the R.R. Scheme, we do not feel that there is any material difference between the new proposition and the present type of Lucas Fuse Holder, as the pressure necessary to insert the new Fuse Holder into the clamps with a fuse wire inserted, is quite as great as the old type under similar conditions.

We feel that we would certainly prefer to have the R.R. design of fuse holder, as this eliminates the fault which causes the wires to blow in the present design, namely, too high a pressure on the ends of the fuse.

Our Experimental Department have also tried the new fuse holder and are of the same opinion as ourselves.

Yours faithfully,

(Sgd) R.W.H. Bailey.
