| To PN.{Mr Northey} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X150 X5770 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG9.7.28. It may be impossible for us to let you have 9-G-111 car on the 13th. The car arrived back from R.{Sir Henry Royce} with a damaged piston which we are having to replace, and there are certain tests which he is asking for, to be carried out on this car. It is doubtful therefore whether this work will be completed by the 13th. We are cut right down to the minimum on experimental cars at the moment, only having just sufficient to keep our staff busy.
