Herewith a report by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG. on the present coach-work position.

I have so far assumed that, since Giles was left with Ward, Park Wards would be responsible for the Drawing Office work in connection with the bodies that they are going to produce.

Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG's small staff of three at the Clan Foundry therefore have concentrated on Myth, and they are making progress though they have not the capacity to go very fast.

We do think that some parallel effort should be going forward at Park Wards. Inevitably we shall have to rely on Park Wards for bodies for 18 months after the War.

In order to get preferential treatment with the P.S.C., however, we are particularly anxious to get a satisfactory Myth car running about so that we can with safety place the Myth files on order before the cessation of hostilities.

The question as to whether any other equipment can be decided upon and placed on order depends on policy.

It is certain that quite a lot of this sort of plant has been destroyed in Coventry, and that in consequence, it may be difficult to get deliveries. Obviously no plant could be placed on order until comprehensive planning of the Myth body had been carried out.

We anticipate that it will be considered that Rolls-Royce have too much on their plate to bother about this at present.
