31st. August, 1934.

Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd.,
D E R B Y.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 30th. instant and in reply thereto have pleasure in giving you the following particulars:-

(a) The Overall dimensions of the set are 9" wide 5" high and 6" deep.

(b) The Loud Speaker is built into the set.

(c) Current consumption is from 3.25 to 3.85 amps. when running from 12 volt batteries through a resistance reducing to 6 volts.

The supply is drawn from the output side of the battery and the consumption does not vary appreciably within the variation of voltage in a normal battery in average condition.

We think it will be a convenience to you to have a set for examination or any trial that you may wish to make. Accordingly we are sending you one together with a resistance for reducing from 6 to 12 volts by passenger train on Monday morning next. For record purposes, we are invoicing this 'Sale or Return', and we shall be very interested to hear further from you when you have examined it.

Again thanking you,
We are,
Yours faithfully,
CARR'S (Car Distributor's) Ltd.
