FABRIC COUPLINGS.

There is no prospect of tests of sufficiently drastic and lengthy nature being carried out in the immediate future to justify any holding up of orders for present fabric couplings.

The fabric coupling we have got has been adopted as a result of very strenuous work and has occupied a great deal of time, and the same eliminating process will have to be gone through before we can consider a new fabric.

At the moment we are not anxious to make a change, having found something which has passed our tests. We do not propose to immediately change this, although we are open to consider what is supposed to be an improvement if and when it becomes convenient for us to make the necessary test and mileage running.
