BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} C. to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ORIGINAL JAPAN 4. GEARBOX. CLUTCH PIT. DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/W10.7.31. X5310. We send herewith N. sch. 3309. shewing the clutch pit casting. It will be seen that we have slightly modified the bolt circle, and the radius into the walls of the next projection on the box have been somewhat increased. We have also modified slightly the eccentricity centre between the box and the clutch pit. We expect that none of these modifications will cause serious delay. The clutch pedal is standard but we have slightly modified the leverage and stroke because of the modification in the position of the pedal centre. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
