Referring to the above and the question of not using sub frames on 40/50's, would you please let me know what experience, if any, we have of the use of cars with diamond mounting with bodies not built on sub frames.

I am asking Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} to put a few through but I am wondering if we have any experience at present. I rather think we have not.

In regard to 20/25's, I should like some information.

I appreciate that 19-G-4 was a combination of this description but the body being of the Weyman type means that we have not the experience with the ordinary coach-built type of body.

Apparently we shall not get the experience with 18-G-4 as I understand this body is built on a sub frame.

It looks as if we shall have to go steady about this so as to avoid running ourselves into trouble as I gather W.W. are rather concerned about the loss of stiffness of the frame which takes place with diamond mounting.
