Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY/HDB BY/TWD{T. W. D???Aeith} X5380. BY8/G.23.8.29. 20 HP. CHASSIS - 3" LONGER FRAME. In order to prevent any misunderstanding or confusion arising in connection with the standardisation of the longer frame, I wish to make it clear that all that is intended is to put 3" into our present frame at such a point that it would affect nothing but the length of the cables for the brakes to the rear axle, also of course 3" longer between the universal joints on the propeller shaft. We do not propose to use any new equalisers or any of the parts which were peculiar and special to the 3" longer frame with the cross in the frame for stiffening. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
