X5770 X5380. 20 HP. CHASSIS. LONG FRAME. We have now done 4600 miles on 12-G4 chassis, 7,000 miles on 14-G4 chassis and 2,500 miles on 16-G4 chassis. These mileages are taken from the time that the cars had the cross removed from the frame and tubular members put in its place. 14-G4 and 16-G4 have always behaved perfectly normally. 12-G4 chassis which originally gave trouble and showed a tendency for the jellying to persist is now behaving normally. We are quite satisfied from 10,000 miles running with the long frame that it will not affect the steering or frame jellying. We are therefore issuing a standardisation sheet.
