Limited, Caxton House, Westminster, LONDON, S. W. 1. 7th January, 1936. For the attention of Mr. Wigfield: Dear Sirs, VACUUM 'E.P. MOBILOIL' With reference to the above, which as you will remember was submitted to us for test as a lubricant for ball bearings, we have tested this on the same rig and under the same conditions as for other E.P. oils, on a 30 m/m.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} bearing running at 3,000 r.p.m. and at the end of a 600-hour run we find that the lubricant is in an entirely satisfactory condition; that it has adequately lubricated the bearing, and that no signs of hardening or gumming up have been noted. We would therefore confirm that from the bearing point of view this lubricant is in every way satisfactory, and trust this information will fully cover your requirements. Yours faithfully, RANSOME & MARLES BEARING CO. LTD. MANAGING DIRECTOR. | ||
