No.30 CAR UNIT BED.

We send you herewith 2 Jaeger Revolution Counters. Both these instruments are old and in very poor condition, and are unreliable in use. If it is impossible to get these repaired, will you please order two new instruments of the latest type, which we believe can be connected straight on to a machine and give a direct reading (thus cutting out the usual gearbox).

It should be noted that the flexible drive to the instrument will be travelling at engine speed (crankshaft) and it is this speed which is to be recorded.

The flexible drives to be 3 ft. long.

These instruments are extremely urgent.
