RATTLES IN THE TRANSMISSION.

With reference to H.9/AL.11.7.33.

On communicating with the Repair Dept. we find that they have not produced any sets of these parts because they say there has been no demand for them. However the anti-rattle clutch centre is now on production of the Bentley, and therefore presumably it would be possible to obtain sets to cure complaints.

The damped clutch centre will be fitted as standard to the 20/25 on B.2. series which should start manufacture on Nov. 11th.

We attach some correspondence relating to rattles in the transmission, and you will see that the position is that no one agrees that it is a complaint of the least importance. Our own opinion is the reverse of this, but presumably we are wrong. However, if there are certain dissatisfied customers, it might be a good thing if a list were prepared, so that they could be dealt with.
