We think we ought to point out that there is no suggestion of increasing the cooling capacity on Phantom cars. We do not consider that Bt{Capt. J. S. Burt - Engineer}'s experience justifies any action being taken when we consider all the various difficulties to carry this out. Did Bt.{Capt. J. S. Burt - Engineer} run with the shutters in the bonnet open? - no mention is made of this. In the technical information issued by the Experimental Dept. in the section on 'Cooling', it is explained why a small car can always be more effectively cooled than a big one.
