.London, N.W.2.

For the attention of Mr.H.R.Buckland.

Dear Sir,

We regret to say that we have had another failure of the trip in the lightened type speedometer we are now testing.

We view this failure with considerable apprehension in view of the fact that we are endeavouring to carry out standardisation tests of these instruments and we have been baulked by trip failures.

We are returning this instrument to you under separate cover with all speed and we shall be glad if you will look into the matter and advise us what you propose to do as quickly as possible.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
