R.4866            Speedometer head. No         Total mileage had information as to defect.        failed, due to breakage of pinion. Adjusted F.O.C.

R.4960            Instrument clicks at 30         Fault admitted. m.p.h.                Adjusted F.O.C.

R.5197            Needle sticks.            Admitted, but fault due to acetate disc. Exchanged for celluloid disc F.O.C.

R.5331            Needle vibrates.            Admitted, due to tight places in gear.

R.5497            Needle vibrates.            Agreed. Adjusted F.O.C.

R.5513            Needle vibrates.            Admitted. Adjusted F.O.C.

R.5573            Needle vibrates.            Admitted. Adjusted F.O.C.

Referring to this list it will be seen that 23 of the complaints were not attributable to any fault in the speedometer.
