Messrs.Rolls-Royce,Ltd., Date 2.5.29. Page 2 deliver a complete set within a very few days. We cannot trace, however, having print No.F.78040, and it might help us if we had this for future reference. We cannot use the tank unit top as at present being used on K.S.152.F. and K.S.180.P, owing to the fact that the six holes for attaching this top interfere with the passages and arrangements of the top as used on the four screw hole type. However, we can provide you with a six hole top with three separate connections for attaching the three air lines, which we conclude will be quite satisfactory, and will attach to the existing fitting as used with K.S.100 originally. As requested, we are sending you a further print of K.S.180.P. We are quite in agreement that nothing but good can come from the changing over of this set to the pump type, but it occurs to us that upon installation it is very necessary that care be taken that the lines are not allowed to get wet, as might possibly have happened if the car did not go direct from your works, or the work was not properly carried out by the coachbuilders originally.
