MARKET HARBOROUGH.

21st June, 1937.

Dear Sirs,

On April 27th you supplied us with two buffers G.84975/6 to replace a buffer which had been causing trouble during an endurance test in France.

By the time the new rubbers had arrived in France the test was practically over, so that no useful running was done on the new rubbers.

We are now returning to the pair of buffers which ran on the car during the endurance testing. One buffer has worn away badly and the other appears to be satisfactory.

We should like to know if you can account for the difference in these two rubbers, and also whether you consider the design of buffer to be satisfactory.

Yours faithfully,

For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
