FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} EFC.) C: [REDACTED] ORIGINAL 2 R2/M20.10.27. BATTERY IGNITION - TUNGSTEN POINTS. X2894 X.8692 I do not know whether these have yet been made standard, and I cannot understand why we have not received a report on the behaviour of the scrubbing points design that we have sent you, which is so suitable for standardisation. This has been hanging on from month to month until I am sure it is high time WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} looked into it, and transferred the work to another dept. The pieces requisitioned on our drawings LeC. 2460/1. dated 15.& 17. Could have been made in the same number of hours as they appear to have taken months. This job has never moved at a speed of more than 10% of what it should have done: I cannot permit it to go on. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
