Herewith is PD.135 shewing Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM{Anthony F. Martindale}'s suggestion for a modified Rear Brake Equaliser mounting to improve the brake geometry. It is desired to test it quickly and BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} thinks BY/Ald.{F. Allwood - Experimental Design} might make the few details required. One or two features can probably be improved in detailing e.g. the bracket carrying the equaliser looks as though it would be better with a separate piece for the equaliser spindle. The attachment of the bracket to the axle tube must be by set screws and not studs as shewn. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
