49-GB CAR. X2631(struck through) X4305

We have carried out tests today using throttle and Dorris scheme with ¼" pipes leading from boilers to induction pipe being restricted at induction pipe end to ⅛".

Tests carried out this morning were free from building up.

On Piston Hill one missfire occurred with Lodge Plugs and K.L.G. plugs.

The same tests are being carried out using Forward (mica and porcelain) plugs. The Forward (mica) plugs failed in pocket position.
