With reference to EY4/G14.3.28, the query arises as to whether R.O.1. magnetos in question have satisfactorily passed our production acceptance test. † Is this test for the R.O.1. magnetos actually being applied to each magneto received? We consider that if the magnetos will pass this test, they will be O.K. on the car. If it can be demonstrated otherwise, then we must alter the specification of test accordingly. † Dated 20.12.26.
