Suggestion to issue a Depot Sheet to engineers regarding the red warning light not indicating dynamo faults.

If you agree to this suggestion we will issue a Depot Sheet so that all Inspecting Engineers and others who come in contact with cars outside our Depots, will be able to prevent further trouble.

We would also like to mention that, as we have already pointed out in several recent complaint cases, the red warning light gives no indication that the dynamo has gone off charge due to any fault in the armature circuit.

A roadside breakdown such as occurred on Mr. Leven's car, would probably have been avoided had the Owner received previous warning by means of the red light.

It is now so universal to regard the red light as an indication that the charging system is in order that we think attention should be given to this point.
