received, and the question arises whether we should or should not build these up into radiators for test. In view of the large amount of experimental work in hand, and also the above arguments, we strongly recommend that radiators from these tubes be not built up for test. Mr. Royce does not in fact agree to the use of hexagon tubes and he prefers brass to copper. It is also possible that the appearance of the radiator will be slightly different to our present standard but we do not think this difference would be very apparent. May we receive instructions on this point, please.

We also think it would be of great help if some authoritative ruling could be made regarding the ordering of material and parts in America as indicated above.
