For the attention of S.H.Grylls, Esq.

10th December, 1937.

Dear Sirs,

7.50-18 Special Fort Covers.

With reference to the writer's visit yesterday, we would confirm that the four special covers in the above size, against your order no: 52537, were delivered to your Works yesterday.

We should be very interested to receive your impressions of this equipment after test, although we explained that the noise value of these tyres would not be comparable with the special 'C' type which are now agreed on your production chassis, due to the absence of the variable pitch feature.

We are on our own initiative producing a mould in this size of tyre which will be identical to that on your production models, and supplies will be available early in the new year.

It is realised that extensive testing will be necessary before you are able to give us your decision on this equipment, but in view of plant difficulties we should appreciate as much advance information as possible.

Yours faithfully,
For DUNLOP RUBBER CO., LTD.
