S/W........By -> c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} o.{Mr Oldham} to Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} X4038 C5/C25.5.28 Re K.S.PETROL GAUGE (Phantom) With reference to EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/24.5.28, willyou please let us know what is the cost of this. You will note from the third paragraph Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} mentions he does not know Sales wishes in connection with the fitting of this gauge as standard. Will you please let us know what the cost will be. Incidently we understand the present proposal is to standardise the Claudel Hobson petrol gauge on the dashboard, which presumably would do away with the necessity of fitting any petrol gauge on the tank itself. It has also been suggested that with the gauge on the dashboard there is really no necessity for a reserve compartment to the tank. We would like to have your views upon this. C. | ||
