To B.J. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. to C. X4038. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/LG30.5.28. PETROL GAUGE ON INSTRUMENT BOARD. The cost of the Hobson petrol gauge if we standardised it will be 35/- per car. The Cost Dept. have given us a price of 31/- for the present RR. gauge. There is a possibility that with the dashboard gauge we might do away with the reserve compartment. We should not recommend this however until we have had considerable experience with the gauge on production cars. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
