The following cable from the States has been received from RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} :-

"HIVES TROUBLE ON CERAMIC PLUGS EXACTLY FOLLOWS OUR HIGH SPEED MIS-FIRING ON MICA INSULATORS STOP CUSTOMERS CLEAN PLUGS BY OCCASIONAL BURSTS OF SPEED STOP IMPROVEMENT OBTAINED BY RUNNING PLUG AS NEAR AUTO IGNITION AS POSSIBLE STOP FOR TOWN DRIVERS CADILLACS RECOMMEND AC TYPE K9 STOP HIGHER OCTANE FUEL DEFINITELY CONSIDERED TO AGGRAVATE THE TROUBLE AMERICA ONLY USING 74 RATING".
