SECRET.

BJ12/E17.2.28

I am not quite clear in regard to what modifications R.{Sir Henry Royce} wants to have included in our standard model as soon as possible.

Do they include the following:

1. New turbulent head.
2. Front axle control.
3. Integral shutters.
4. Rubber mounting.
5. Rear spare wheel carrier.

[Handwritten note]: O/Cq F2B. if BJ accepts £50 scrap

In Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}1/FG14.2.28, Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} says he considers that the amount of scrap to introduce the rear spare wheel carrier and integral shutters would be approximately [text struck through with 'x's] £150.

Can you tell us how much more the other items would necessitate?

BJ.
