We understand that some modification is pending to the tests applied to the above. At present a load of 16 to 18 lbs. at 17½" radius is required to bring the driving plate up to its stops in flywheel. If this is to be changed, would you advise us so that the arrangement can be brought up to date. Item 2. Note No.14. This note reads :- "The friction of pinion slipper disc should be overcome when a load of 2 lbs. approx. is applied at 17½" radius."
