LONDON S.W.15.

For the attention of Major C.M.Carington.

Dear Sirs,

You will be pleased to know that we are proposing to modify the plug position on both the 25/30. and Bentley chassis in order to avoid the necessity of using longer barrel plugs.

In order that we can test out the new plug position we should like you to send us as soon as possible four dozen plugs having the standard barrel length i.e. like the FE.30.X. but with the same reach as the FLB.30.X. plug. It is likely that this plug will be the type we shall adopt in future for the 25/30 and Bentley chassis after prolonged testing.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
