re. 20-HP. Exhaust Pipe Vibrations.

I am very pleased to be able to report that a special Silencer Pipe fixing which has been fixed by Mr Warwick on a chassis on test which suffered badly from the above fault appears to be entirely cured, in fact the running of the car seems to be generally improved in this respect by this special fitting.

We recommend that this job should be urgently pushed along and a proper design tested out and standardised as soon as possible.

We shall be glad, however, to take an opportunity of fixing a satisfactory scheme to a Sales Trials car which we now have at the Works and which we are anxious to deliver to London by the end of this week. Will you please instruct accordingly.
