6066 S/W To Wst. from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} re LUCAS. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}2/E22.3.37 Thanks for Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst.5/AP.16.3.37. In the course of discussion with Mr.Oliver Lucas he mentioned that we were testing one of their ignition sets on a Continental 10,000 miles car. Would you please reply to me at Derby and let me know on what car this is. Re Mellotone horns, I learnt for the first time that the first modification they made was not satisfactory and I was very anxious to find out whether the new horns which you have sent over to France for 35-EX were of the correctly modified type and I asked himto get in touch with you on the subject. Please let me know the result. Please also let me know if our people over there have received and fitted up the American horns which I asked Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} to send as I am anxious that they should be tried under the same conditions as the Mellotone horns. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
