File Dear Sirs, We are in receipt of your further letter of the 5th instant and shall be pleased to make the steel liners in the carbon steel, and we think it might be possible for us to get down to approximately £1. each for these, but we should have to find out exactly the cost of the steel, and in this case we would make up the sample pair for you, including fitting to the drums, at £1.15.0. each, and would like to quote for the quantity after we have completed the one pair, so that we could get down to rock bottom price.
