Dear Sir,

Enclosed is a drawing of a Liner GB.2406 for a Bentley Aluminium drum. We are wanting quotations for this liner made from carbon steel heat treated to give a Brinell of 300-350, the liner to be formed from a flat strip rolled and welded.

We should like to know if you could undertake either the entire production of this, or just the rolling, welding and heat treating. If this matter is of any interest to you, will you please write to us stating what time and day you could see the undersigned at your works to discuss the matter. Mr. Whyman would come over also to discuss exhaust manifolds.

In replying, will you please state your works address.

Yours faithfully,

For Rolls-Royce Limited.
