X.4215 - BLERIOT CUT-OUTS.

With reference to your EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 10/T19421 & the Bleriot cut-out which was supplied to us has been run on various cars on test for about 600 miles, and has given no trouble.

It is very positive in action but rather noisy when making or breaking contact.

I am of the opinion, however, that the cut-out is slightly lagged as compared with its condition when first fitted.

It was noticed that there was only about 1 amp. reverse current when the cutting out took place. This current has now increased to about 2 or 3 amps.

In all other respects the cut-out is quite satisfactory so far as our tests show.
