The Norton Motor Cycle Co.Ltd.,
BIRMINGHAM.

Dear Sirs,

We are considering purchasing one of your Motor Cycle Engines for Single Cylinder Test Bed work.

We wonder whether you would be willing to sell us one of your racing engines after the completion of this year's T.T. races. We shall naturally treat any results we obtain from it as confidential, and shall only use it for Test Bed work.

If you would be prepared to sell us such a unit we should be glad to know what the price would be, and also indication of the performance we may expect.

The size of the cylinder in which we are interested is 500 c.c.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
