Mr. Woollard,
c/o.{Mr Oldham} The Rudge Whitworth Motor Cycle Co.,
Crow Lane,
COVENTRY.

Dear Mr. Woollard,

I am anxious to know whether you would be agreeable for us to send someone over to Coventry and discuss with your motor-cycle engine experts the BHP. and MEP. you obtain from motor-cycle units.

There is no question of us competing with yourselves, but we often hear of phenomenal powers being obtained from motor-cycle engines and we should like to know whether they are correct.

We are quite prepared to exchange information with your people as regards performance we are obtaining on our aero engines under supercharged and normal induction systems.

If you kindly consent to this proposal we suggest either Monday or Wednesday of next week would be suitable.

Yours faithfully,

For Rolls-Royce Ltd.
