X3435 Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} NOV 9 1922 RECEIVED EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn6/H9.11.22. We are having a number of complaints from our repair Depots of having to take up slack in the engine couplings after comparatively short mileage. We have a complaint before us where this has had to be done by Cricklewood after only 7,400 miles and the customer naturally does not think he should be debited after such a comparatively short mileage. We are satisfied that this trouble does occur after a short mileage, even when lubrication has been properly seen to. We shall be glad to know whether anything can be done to improve matters in this direction. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} | ||
