RE ALUM: WASHERS IN PLACE OF FIBRE With reference to BY6/H.23.12.26. we have tried a set of alum: washers in place of fibre on Shock Absorbers and these have proved to be quite satisfactory. We can judge by the assembling on the bench whether they are reliable. However we have fitted a set of Shock Absorbers to Chassis 14.EX. with these washers so that they can be proved by road test, but our experience generally, on alum: washers goes to prove that there will be no doubt about these being O.K.
