Dear Rim,

Well, here we are all messed about with our usual lives & routine upset by this bloody Hitler & goodness knows if we shall ever settle down again to the things that interest us.

Have you any advice to offer as to getting more mpg out of the Bentley. Is there anything one can do except drive economically? What is the economical speed, about 35/40 mph.

I'm for some extra petrol rations but not enough & if one could get the consumption down to 20 mpg, it would be a great help. (4 1/4 litre)

If you have time, write me your news.

Yours sincly
G.L.N. Minchin
