R.R. 148 (20 F CX{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} 710 LT G 599) Water consumption tests taken on Dynamometer. The water was kept constant at 70°C. The thermometer was in the top water pipe from engine to Radiator. Time is how long it took to pass 5 galls of water through the engine & to keep it at 70°C. Two readings were taken in each test, the result given is the mean, the difference in these two tests only amounted to 2 to 3 secs in the time. The thermometer varied between 69° & 71°C. Daimler was fitted with R medium large Carb: worm axle, 4 x 6 Compression 75 lbs. 104 x 130 m/m R.R. Car 1714 C medium large Carb: Compression 64 lbs. | ||
